Christina Aguilera certainly had a Valentine’s Day to remember after boyfriend Matthew Rutler proposed – and she said yes.

According to its website, Rutler couldn't play some shows for "personal reasons" in December 2010.

The last update on the site's main page appears on Dec. According to TMZ, the band tagged Christina Aguilera on its website when she and Rutler first began dating. Aguilera filed for divorce from her husband Jordan Bratman in October 2010 with "irreconcilable differences" cited as the reason in the divorce petition.

The 33-year-old singer tweeted the happy news that she is engaged to longtime boyfriend Matthew Rutler who popped the question on Valentine's Day.

"The Voice" judge posted a picture of their hands, with a substantial rock on her finger and wrote, "He asked me and I said yes..." It appears the proposal took place in a tropical place as the background shows palm trees and a beautiful beach.

Christina was already married once, with Jordan Bratman and also has one kid.

After Enrique, Christina’s next boyfriend was Jorge Santos.

Rutler has mutiple movie credits, mostly as production assistant or set production assistant, including on Aguilera's movie "Burlesque." He's also worked on Adam Sandler's "Just Go with It" and "The Social Network" as a production assistant.

He plays guitar in a band called the Nate Mott Band.

It looks like Rutler chose a very romantic setting to do the deed too, with a gorgeous ocean view in the background of the Twitter snap.
